Cutler Harbor House is located in Cutler.  This 1008 sq. ft. home offers 2 bedrooms, an open floorplan with kitchen, dining and living room. As you walk into the mud room there is a large closet to hang your coats, store your boots and other items.

The kitchen has plenty of work space and everything is within reach.  Just off the kitchen is the living room and dining area.  Double patio doors and large windows are optimal for letting in the sun and brighten up the rooms even on a cloudy day.  Views over Cutler Harbor, Little River Island and out to the bold ocean can be seen from all these rooms.  Get a cozy fire going in the wood stove, grab your coffee and enjoy the scenery.

A large wrap-around deck is great for out-side entertainment, BBQing, and just relaxing.  What a great place to enjoy your morning coffee and watch the sun come up over the harbor, the fishermen headed out or coming back from a day on the water.  Just enjoy the fresh salty air of coastal living.

The second floor offers a large sitting area great for a game room, to watch  tv or it can serve as a back-up bedroom when extended family and friends show up.  The second bedroom has views of the harbor and across to Western Head. There is also a full bath with a jetted tub.

The town of Cutler is just off the beaten path – half way between East Machias and Lubec via Rt. 191S.  This fishing village is home to approximately 500 year round residents and grows in the summer time.  It is home to the Cutler Coast Public Preserve which consists of 12,000 acres of land from the cliffs along the 4.5 miles of unpopulated bold coast to the woodlands, peat bogs and blueberry grounds headed inland.  The preserve offers trails to hike and some low-impact camp sites.  

Along with the public preserved land there are other conservation lands for hiking close by.  There is Western Head located across the harbor, Eastern Head just down the road and Bog Brook. The ATV trails in Cutler connect to the Sunrise Trails – an 80 mile stretch of old railroad trails turned recreational trails that reach from Calais to Ellsworth.  They are great for hiking, biking, horseback riding, 4 wheeling, ATV tiding, snowmobiling, cross country skiing – just great 4 season fun!
